Position Overview Ensures that business objectives are met for the assigned geographical area by enabling the management team within the region to successfully generate revenue and positive operating profit, while continuing to ensure a high standard of excellence through exceptional customer service embodying the Ralph Lauren lifestyle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities o Multi store responsibility within a designated region with regard to all areas of responsibility including management, financials, and communication with corporate and overall success of the business. Includes bottom line financial responsibility for the region (i.e., S & A expenses, Gross Margin, & NIBT results). o Responsible for overseeing the region and district managers and general managers of the stores within the region. Provide ongoing feedback regarding performance, monitor contribution results, and set consistent goals for the team. o Responsible for Human Resources within the region, with the support of corporate and field HR, to effectively resolve behavioral and performance issues, attendance and tardiness issues through coaching and counseling. o Partner with the corporate PFS management, as well as, store management team to oversee, establish and achieve sales and margin goals, develop operating budgets and monitor performance. Ensure that the Buyers and Planners identify items and merchandise classifications of high sales and profit potential for stores within the region. o Responsible for overseeing recruitment, selection, training and supervision of store management staff within the region to ensure cultural fit, appropriate insight for the business and performance results. Includes succession planning for current and future positions. o Overseas the execution of Ralph Lauren's promotional strategies and programs, assuring that they support Ralph Lauren's sales, marketing, and profit objectives. Regularly visits relevant competition to maintain an awareness of store performance issues and market trends. o Recommends solutions to operational needs and challenges. Effectively implements new company policies, procedures, and programs within the region. Ensures timely, thorough, and consistent communication regarding organizational changes, results, and follow-up for compliance of policies and procedures. o Maintains a leadership role in charity and community events. #LI-RS1 Experience, Skills & Knowledge o College Degree or equivalent experience. o Minimum 10 years of Retail Management experience with at least 5 years in a high volume environment. Strong preference for fast paced, high complex retail experience. o Strong business acumen and skill-set which enables the management and staff to drive business goals. o Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization. o Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public. 5563246

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
