Primary Responsibility:
Support manufacturing by safely moving glass through the tempering process.
Summary of Job Duties:
Accurately read and measure glass specifications.
Safely move glass through the tempering facility.
Load and unload glass from washers, polishers, ovens, and roller tables.
Operate multiple machines through tempering process.
Follow the order paperwork to ensure accurate production.
Constantly perform quality check on product.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Experience & Skills Required:
Ability to perform physical work and may be required to lift, but not limited to 75 lbs.
Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting for up to 3-4 hours without sitting Ability to read, write, and measure product and labels Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues Ability to perform basic math and measuring functions Working Conditions:
Works primarily indoors, but not limited.
Exposure to various temperatures.
Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils & materials Personal Protective Equipment required.
